Here offers you the ability to use the cash in your brokerage account to invest on Here. That means you can reinvest your dividends and interest or deposit funds at any time to make it quicker to invest next time all while earning interest on your cash.
What is the Here Wallet?
The Here Wallet leverages your brokerage account created during onboarding when you successfully complete identity verification for your first investment on the Here platform with our partner, DriveWealth. Investors’ cash, dividends, and property shares are held in their DriveWealth brokerage account, and you can now use the cash available (Buying power) to fund future investments.
How does it work?
When you make a commitment to a Here property, we first check if there are funds available in your Here Wallet. If you have available buying power, we will use these to fund your commitment. Any additional funds that are needed to fulfill your commitment will be debited from your bank account on file.
Do I have to transfer funds into my Here wallet before an offering goes live?
No, if your brokerage account does not have enough buying power, the remaining amount will always be transferred from the bank account on file via ACH at the time you make a commitment to an offering. The payment will be deposited into your Here wallet and then credited to your order after clearing the deposit.
Will investors with funds in their Here wallet get first priority to invest in an offering?
No, all investors will be given an equal opportunity to invest in new offerings as they launch on Here.
Are my funds earning interest while in my Here Wallet?
Yes, cash in your Here Wallet is administered by our partners at DriveWealth in their FDIC Bank Sweep Program. Funds in your Here Wallet are held at Customers Bank and are FDIC insured up to $250k. Any interest that accrues is credited to your account at the end of each month.
Deposits and Withdrawals
How long does it take for my deposit to settle in my Here Wallet?
Once you transfer funds into your Here Wallet, funds typically take 1-3 business days to settle. Once your deposit has settled in your Here Wallet, you may use the funds towards a property offering.
How long does it take for my withdrawal from my Here Wallet to appear in my bank?
Funds withdrawn from your Here Wallet typically take 1-3 business days before they arrive at your bank.
When can I withdraw funds?
Cash in your brokerage account can be withdrawn 30 days after your last deposit.
When can I deposit funds?
You can deposit funds at any time. Please note, funds take 1-3 business days to settle before you can use them towards an offering. If you intend to use your deposit to make a commitment during a live property offering, it is best to transfer funds directly via the investment flow of an offering. This ensures your funds are transferred directly to a specific offering, and you do not have to wait 1-3 business days for your deposit to settle before you make a commitment.
